VACCINATIONS

Most parents vaccinate their children against various dangerous infections-following the advise of doctors- despite the fact that the pros and cons of vaccinations are hotly debated.

Vaccinations support the child’s organism with the formation of a specific immune system against the respective infection. Grave complications and consequences can thus be avoided (e.g. encephalitis from measles, and deformation due to German measles).

Some vaccinations provide a lifelong immunity, others have to be repeated several times or after a number of years. The official UAE vaccination plan corresponds to that of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and recommends the following vaccinations:
