It is also where patients come to their family doctor first and then are referred on to specialists if needed. This gave her a wide spectrum of experience in areas of internal medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, counselling, geriatric medicine and in managing both acute illnesses and chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Patkar believes in looking at a person holistically. She completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona in 2017 and is a certified mindfulness instructor.
