Paediatric Cardiology

Paediatric cardiology is concerned with the study of congenital cardiac malformations, acquired heart diseases and abnormalities of the systemic and pulmonary circulations in the fetus, newborn, child and young adult. Some of the common paediatric cardiac conditions that are assessed and managed by our team of paediatric cardiologist are as heart murmurs, symptoms of fainting, chest pains, and palpitations

Our experienced paediatric cardiologists are trained to assess and manage paediatric cardiology patients with any type of simple to complex cardiac conditions with the use of advanced non-invasive  and invasive diagnostic tests and treatment procedures.  Some of the diagnostic procedures performed are:

  • Echocardiography (an ultrasound of heart)
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
  • Holter monitor
  • Cardiac MRI
