Dr. Rahila Bhatti has over 10 years of experience in Endocrinology and Diabetes in Dubai, the UK and Pakistan. She undertook her speciality training in leading teaching hospitals in London such as Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospital.
As a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK, Dr. Rahila has previously worked as a Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology in Worthing Hospital, UK.
She has implemented many initiatives at previous hospitals including local insulin pump services, antenatal diabetes services, inpatient diabetic management plans, blood glucose monitoring and guidelines on pre-operative diabetes care for bariatric surgery. She has presented (both oral and poster presentations) at national and international meetings in the UK, USA and UAE.
She is an adjunct clinical assistant professor for Diabetes and Endocrinology at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU).
GCAA ( General Civil Aviation Authority) as an aviation medicine specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology. She is also available for telemedicine consultations.
