Dr. Khandekar has worked in clinical obstetrics and gynaecology since she qualified in 1986. She has worked in many parts of the world, including India, Libya and the UAE. She has also taught in universities in India, Libya, Malaysia and the UAE. She has a wide range of experience, such as the provision of comprehensive emergency obstetric and gynaecologic care in challenging situations like the Libyan Sahara. She provides high quality antenatal and other services such as ultrasound, evaluation of infertility, menstrual abnormalities and screening for gynaecological cancer and aims to improve the overall reproductive health of her patients with a reduction in the occurrence and severity of emergency presentations in obstetrics and gynaecology.
She recently undertook training in Clinical Research and Biostatistics from Harvard Medical School (2016-17) under a scholarship from the Dubai Harvard Foundation for Medical Research.
