Dr. Rana has 16 years of experience in psychiatry, the last seven years of which were as a consultant psychiatrist in the UK’s National Health Service. She obtained her medical degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. She gained membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) while doing speciality training in Psychiatry at Oxford Deanery, UK. Upon completion of this training she obtained the Certificate of Completion Training (CCT). She has experience of managing mental health problems of all levels of severity and complexity in adolescents, adults and older people using a variety of approaches including pharmacological and psychological interventions. She believes in working collaboratively and compassionately with patients and their carers to find the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient.
