Dr. Tiago specializes in high-risk pregnancy and has special interests in maternal medicine and Endocrine Pathology of pregnancy, such as Gestational Diabetes and thyroid disease and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, such as preeclampsia. He is also a certified surgeon by the Gynaecological Endoscopic (laparoscopic and hysteroscopy) Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA).

Summary
Dr. Tiago Ferraz graduated from the University of Porto, Portugal with a Medical Degree in 2007 and is Board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the Portuguese College of Obstetrics & Gynecology (PCOG) since 2015. Since then, Dr. Tiago practiced in the Sao Joao University Hospital and more recently in several tertiary care hospitals in the region.
During his career, Dr. Tiago was also involved in the clinical commissioning of several medical services, including Women & Children Departments in new private Hospitals and Accreditation activities in the region, while being engaged in post-graduation training programs.
Dr. Tiago is dedicated to high-risk pregnancy management with expertise in Endocrine Pathology of pregnancy in addition to being a certified surgeon by the Gynaecological Endoscopic (laparoscopic and hysteroscopy) Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA).
