- Dr Wasserberg graduated in Medicine from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 1986. He trained in Neurosurgery in Glasgow, Scotland and passed the Neurosurgery examination and obtained his Certificate of Completion of neurosurgical training in 1997.
Prior to joining Mediclinic, he was a consultant in Neurosurgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, UK from 1998 until 2013.
He then moved to Abu Dhabi working at Mafraq Hospital (2013-2019) and then at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (2020- May 2022).
He has published over twenty academic papers on topics related to head injury, spinal injury, spinal tumours and spinal surgery.
His interests are spinal problems, in particular disc pathology causing neck and arm pain and back and leg pain.
He performs spinal injections and surgeries on the spine.
