Dr. Victoria completed her Dermatology training at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom in 2014. Prior to joining Mediclinic she worked in a large comprehensive private dermatology practice in Christchurch, New Zealand. She also previously worked as Clinical Director of Dermatology atChristchurch Hospital where she treated both adults and children with the most severe dermatological conditions. During this time she was appointed as Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago, and was in charge of undergraduate dermatology teaching at the Christchurch School of Medicine. She is a trustee and social media lead of the world-renowned dermatology website Dermnet.
Dr. Victoria has extensive experience in medical dermatology, skin cancer and dermatological surgery. She has particular expertise in managing patients with severe acne, psoriasis, eczema, and complex medical dermatological conditions requiring immunosuppressive therapies, including biologics. She has subspecialty interests in paediatric dermatology, hair loss and cosmetic dermatology. She has trained in some aspects of aesthetic medicine, including CO2 laser resurfacing and pulsed-dye laser. Victoria will be undertaking advanced accredited training in laser and aesthetics (including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers), in 2019.
Dr. Victoria has moved to Dubai with her husband who is a Family Medicine Consultant, and their two young sons. She is delighted to be joining Mediclinic City Hospital, and is looking forward to exploring their new home.
