Dr Imane Guermah is a Spanish board certified nephrologist. She started her practice in Barcelona, Spain, 10 years ago and then moved to Paris, France, to the reputed Tenon Hospital. She is an expert in renal replacement therapies for patients with chronic and acute kidney disease. She was responsible for kidney transplantation management and haemodialysis including dialysis at home in Paris and joined the home haemodialysis leader group as Regional Medical Head in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. She has a strong experience in autoimmune diseases management and glomerulonephritis and has special interest in resistant hypertension and diabetic nephropathy. She co-authored several publications and presented several works in international congresses. She was awarded by the Spanish Society of Nephrology for her work on tubulointerstitial nephritis. She is member of the European Renal Association, and the European Dialysis and Transplantation Association.
