24/7 TELEMEDICINE SERVICES AT MEDICLINIC WELCARE HOSPITAL

Mediclinic Welcare Hospital’s telemedicine service has three parts:

  • Immediate medical care audio calls (24/7).
  • An on-demand video call with a family medicine doctor, powered by Health at Hand, a Dubai-based telehealth company (from 9am-5pm, Saturday to Thursday)
  • A pre-booked video appointment with a specialist of your choice (from 8am – 8 pm)

24/7 telemedicine services

This service is for patients who have urgent health concerns and are unsure whether they should come to the hospital or not, or who have urgent health enquiries outside usual consulting hours. This service is available via an audio teleconsultation  which requires no prior appointment. The service will be provided by experienced physicians and they will be able to assess  and refer the patient based on their health condition.

 Family medicine on-demand

Patients who have an urgent health concern or who are unsure whether they need to see a specialist should first consult one of Mediclinic family medicine doctors using the on-demand service.  This service is available to everyone, regardless of whether you have been a patient at Mediclinic before.  The family medicine doctors will be able to either diagnose and treat your condition or refer you to a specialist by video call if required.  If they believe it necessary, they may ask you to make an appointment to visit the appropriate doctor in person.  To speak to a family medicine doctor now, click here.

Other specialist by appointment

If you are certain of the type of specialist you need to see, or you are currently under treatment by a particular doctor at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital, you can arrange a pre-booked video consultation.  If you have not been a patient with Mediclinic before you should first access the mandatory preregistration form (here) and submit your details. One of our contact centre agents will call you to coordinate the consultation.
