Hein was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Mediclinic Middle East in 2023, having previously served as Chief Strategy Officer. As CEO, he holds overall executive oversight of the organisation, including strategic planning, future growth strategy, policy setting, budgeting, and financial and operational performance.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, strategy, operations, and business growth, across both local and international markets.
Hein is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK (FIA), and a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA). He holds a BSc from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
