Your care, your voice

We respect your rights as a patient and treat you and your family with dignity and honesty. We encourage you to take an active role in your care and share any concerns with your team.

Before any procedure or surgery, your physician will explain the benefits, risks, alternatives, and recovery, so you can decide with confidence.

Frequently asked questions

Try to arrive around 15 minutes before your appointment, so there's time to register and settle in. Most facilities register you at reception. Some, including Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, Mediclinic Dubai Mall, and Mediclinic City Hospital, offer kiosk, QR code, or self-check-in options. You'll share a few personal details, and a co-payment may apply depending on your insurance. A nurse checks your vital signs before you see your consultant, and returning patients usually register faster since their details are on file.

What you'll need depends on your status. UAE nationals and residents should bring their Emirates ID, while visitors from abroad should bring their passport and travel insurance documentation. If you have insurance, bring your insurance card or details, plus a referral letter or discharge summary if you've been referred, and any relevant medical reports. If you're bringing a child, a parent or legal guardian must accompany them, as required by UAE law.

Mediclinic Middle East accepts referrals from doctors outside our network, as well as referrals between our own specialists. If you've been referred, bring your referral letter, any relevant medical reports, and your insurance details to your appointment, and our team will register the referral before it's processed.

If you need support such as wheelchair assistance or language interpretation, just let the facility know when you arrive and we'll make sure everything's arranged for a smooth visit.
