Yes. Search for your doctor in the Mediclinic App and choose an available appointment. You can also contact our Client Engagement Centre for help booking your follow-up.

Yes. Mediclinic Middle East offers video, voice, and chat consultations through the Mediclinic App, and your virtual consultation is recorded in your medical file in the same way as an in-person appointment.

Virtual appointments suit common, non-emergency concerns - for example, colds and respiratory infections, skin conditions, stomach upsets, urinary tract infections, headaches, and medication reviews. They're also available for mental health consultations and follow-ups on existing conditions.

Your doctor may give you a diagnosis, a prescription, a sick leave certificate, or a referral for tests or a specialist. If you need a physical examination, they'll refer you to an in-person appointment.

This may depend on your condition and insurance plan. You may need to see a GP or family medicine doctor first, who can assess you and refer you to the right specialist. Check with your insurer before booking, particularly if your plan requires a referral or prior approval.

Your consultation fees vary depending on the doctor, specialty, facility, and whether you are using insurance. Check our list of insurance partners to see if you're covered under your plan; or, our team can confirm the consultation fee, your insurance eligibility, and any co-payment when you book.

You can pay with card, cash, or through your insurance. The payment options available will depend on the facility, service, and whether you are using insurance. Our team will explain any amount you need to pay before or during your visit.

We don't take payments directly in the Mediclinic App. Where available, we may send you a secure payment link by SMS. You can also pay at the facility.

Yes. Your cost estimate will be provided once your procedure and treatment plan have been confirmed. The final amount may change depending on the treatment you receive and your insurance coverage.

You'll need to pay any co-payment, deductible, or services excluded from your plan. Check with your insurer for details of your benefits, limits, and exclusions. Mediclinic Middle East can confirm the amount due once your coverage has been checked.

Mediclinic Middle East works with a wide range of insurance providers, but acceptance can vary by facility, service, and plan. Search for your provider on the insurance page, then check the details of your policy with your insurer.

Direct billing depends on your insurance provider, plan, facility, and service. Check with your insurer before your appointment. If direct billing isn't available, you may need to pay Mediclinic Middle East and claim the cost back from your insurer.

Bring your valid Emirates ID or passport, your current insurance card, and any referral or approval documents required under your plan.

Insurance agreements can differ by provider, plan, facility, service, and the Emirate you're in. A plan accepted at one Mediclinic Middle East location may have different coverage or restrictions at another.

Check on our insurance page for any exceptions, and confirm your benefits with your insurer before visiting.

For general enquiries, appointments, or support, call 800 1999 for Dubai hospitals and clinics, or 800 2000 for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain hospitals and clinics.

Your complaint will be recorded and assigned to the appropriate team with a set response time. You'll receive email and SMS notifications when the case is opened and closed.

If we don't resolve your complaint within the agreed time, we'll escalate it automatically to the next level of management.

Mediclinic Middle East usually aims to contact you and resolve administrative complaints within 24 to 48 hours. Clinical complaints follow a separate review process and may take longer, but our team will be in touch to let you know when to expect a response.

You can use the Mediclinic App to book, change, and cancel appointments, have virtual consultations, view available test results and medical records, see your medications and visit summaries, and manage healthcare for linked family members. The app is free to download and supports all Mediclinic Middle East facilities in the UAE.

Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can register using UAE Pass, the UAE’s national digital identity service, or your email address. You’ll be asked to verify your identity using two-factor authentication, and can then set up a PIN or biometric login.

Yes. The Family Linking feature allows you to manage healthcare for children, parents, or other family members from your account.

Visit a Mediclinic Middle East hospital or clinic with the relevant Emirates IDs and any guardianship documents. The front-desk team can help complete the linking process. Family members aged 18 or over can link their own accounts.

Yes. The app uses secure sign-in through UAE Pass or your personal Mediclinic Middle East login. Access is controlled through authentication features, including a password, PIN, or biometric login.

Emergency departments are available at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, Mediclinic City Hospital, Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, and Mediclinic Welcare Hospital.

Urgent care is available at Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital and Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital.

For life-threatening emergencies, call the UAE Emergency Services ambulance on 998. Be ready to provide information on what happened and where you are, and follow the operator's instructions until help arrives.

Yes. You don't need an appointment to visit a Mediclinic Middle East emergency or urgent care department, which are open 24/7. Patients are assessed according to the urgency of their condition, so those with life-threatening conditions, or the most serious needs, will be treated first. Our clinical team uses an internationally recognised triage process to make patients who need immediate care receive it first.

If you're experiencing a serious medical emergency, such as suspected heart attacks or stroke, the safest option is to call 998. Paramedics can begin treatment immediately and alert the urgent care or emergency department before your arrival.

Call 998 immediately for UAE government emergency services. Tell the operator where you are and what has happened, then follow their instructions.

Bring your Emirates ID or passport and your valid insurance card, if available. It can also help to have details of your medicines, allergies, and relevant medical conditions, but do not delay seeking emergency care if you cannot bring these documents.

In a medical emergency, assessment and stabilisation are always the priority, and insurance and payment matters can be addressed after you get the urgent care you need. Emergency coverage depends on your provider, plan, and the Mediclinic Middle East facility you visit. Bring your insurance card and check with your insurer for details of your coverage, limits, and exclusions. You may need to pay directly if your plan is not accepted for direct billing.

A family member or companion may come with you, but access to treatment areas may be limited depending on your condition, capacity, and hospital policy. Children can also be treated, and as a parent or guardian, you can stay with them. There may be times when the care team will ask you to step out of the room so they can fully focus on caring for your child, and you'll be kept fully informed if this happens.

Yes, we welcome visitors from around the world at our hospitals and clinics. You can book an appointment on the Mediclinic app or online. Bring your passport and international insurance card with you. And if you need more guidance, our team can help you choose the right facility, doctor, and appointment for your needs.

Yes. Our international patient team can co-ordinate your care before you travel, help match you with the right hospital and specialist, and support you throughout your visit. We’ll work with your care team to confirm which services are available and what the next steps will be.

You'll have access to six hospitals and twenty-seven clinics across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain, backed by more than 1,600 doctors. Our facilities hold Joint Commission International accreditation, and we offer VIP rooms and suites as well as standard inpatient amenities.

Waiting times can be much shorter than in some other healthcare systems, with some procedures available within days. The UAE also offers a wide range of leisure, entertainment, and hospitality options for you and your family during your stay. Get in touch with our dedicated international patient team who will guide you through the process.

We offer care across a wide range of ages and specialties. Popular services include orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, neurology, IVF, reproductive medicine, family balancing, and holiday dialysis.

Find out more about what we offer on our Medical Tourism hub, or get in touch with our international patients team. We'll review your needs and help match you with the right service, specialist, and facility.

Our international patient team may ask you to send medical reports, scans, test results, details of your current treatment, and a copy of your passport and international insurance policy or card.

We’ll share this information with the relevant care team and let you know which services are available, what treatment may involve, and what to do next. We have dedicated support staff to make sure your journey runs smoothly.

We provide eligible international patients with the documents they need and support them through the medical visa process; visa approval is subject to the requirements and decisions of the relevant UAE government authorities. We'll guide you through every step of the process to make sure you have all the information you need, and all arrangements are taken care of.

We can also support you with flights, accommodation, airport transfers, local transport, and arrangements for a family member or companion. Any related costs will be explained before arrangements are confirmed.

Coverage depends on your insurer, policy, and the treatment you need. Our international patient team will ask you for a copy of your international insurance policy or card so we can review the arrangements.

Your insurer may provide a guarantee of payment. Planned surgery must be paid for in advance; for other treatment, you’ll pay after your care has been provided.

We match you with the right team member when language support is needed during consultations, tests, and treatments. Full-time interpreter services are available; these may be chargeable, depending on the facility.

Our hospitals offer standard private rooms, as well as VIP rooms and suites for inpatients who would like more space and enhanced service. VIP options may include additional doctor visits, upgraded room service, and five-star hotel-style comfort. Facilities, services, and charges vary by hospital, and our international patient team can advise you on the options available across the Mediclinic Middle East network.
