Dr. Ibrahim undertook his fellowship in ENT, Head & Neck Surgery from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan (CPSP) and was trained at the Pakistan Institute of Medical sciences (PIMS), Islamabad. He then did an advanced Rhinoplasty course from Dundee University, Scotland, UK. He joined Ayub Medical College, Pakistan, as an Assistant Professor ENT and Consultant ENT in Ayub Teaching Hospital which is one of the largest and best public tertiary care teaching hospitals in Pakistan. He taught ENT to undergraduate MBBS students as well as postgraduate FCPS ENT residents. He has also been the examiner for Khyber Medical University, Pakistan in the speciality of ENT.

He is widely published in national and international peer reviewed medical journals.
