Dr Lyons has extensive experience of working in high-demand primary care settings and managing complex caseloads involving multimorbidity, frailty, and end-of-life care. Formerly a GP partner and safeguarding lead at a large inner city London practice she has led multidisciplinary teams and served as the lead generalist doctor at a community hospital for patients with neuro-disability.

Dr Lyons has trained medical students, junior doctors and GP trainees, thus combining her interest for clinical excellence with a strong commitment to mentorship, ethical medicine and patient safety. She holds additional certificates in diabetes management and minor surgical skills.

Dr Lyons has won medical innovation prizes from Health Enterprise East Innovation Hub, as well as East Kent Hospitals University NHS Trust. She is a member of the British Medical Association and the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK).
