Dr. Al Atrash began her medical career after obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree from Al Quds University, followed by completion of her paediatric residency at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi. She subsequently achieved Arab Board certification in General Paediatrics and became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), UK
She pursued advanced subspecialty training in Paediatric Gastroenterology through a structured fellowship at SKMC. During her training, she gained international exposure through a training at Stollery Children’s Hospital, Canada, and additional experience at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Al Atrash has held multiple specialist roles in leading institutions across Abu Dhabi, including Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Burjeel Hospital and currently Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, where she practices as a Paediatric Gastroenterology Specialist.
She is actively involved in clinical research and academic activities, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed international journals and presentations at major regional and international conferences, including ESPGHAN and NASPGHAN meetings.
