He has more than seven years of vast UAE experience of working in reputed hospitals. Dr Uttam Kumar completed his masters (MD) in Dermatology & Venereology from prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, India in December 2005. He subsequently did his three years Senior Residency in Dermatology form All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, a premier Institute of India. Dr Uttam is expert in treating all types of skin, hair and nail diseases. He has many research publications in international journals in the field of dermatology and presented papers at World congress of Dermatology and other international conferences world-wide. Dr. Uttam Kumar is recipient of many awards, including: Imrich-Sarkany Non-European Memorial Scholarship Award from the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology ; Bishnupriya Devi Award for the best original article of the year published in the Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprology in 2012 ; International Travel support for Young Scientist Award by the Department of Science and Technology, government of India for original research paper presentation at World Congress of Dermatology, Seol, South Korea; IADVL-Neutrogena Scholarship Award for American Academy of Dermatology Conference in Miami, USA; and Scholarship from the International Society of Dermatology at International Congress of Dermatology , Prague , Czech Republic. Dr Uttam Kumar is an International fellow of American Academy of Dermatology, Member of International Society of Dermatology, Member European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology, Member Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists, Member Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India and Member Cosmetic Dermatology Society of India. Dr Uttam Kumar has excellent clinical skills. He has a special interest in paediatric dermatology, biological therapy in psoriasis, allergies and urticaria, aesthetic procedures and lasers.
