Carel Hugo is a highly experienced sports physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Bath (UK). He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Carel has worked extensively with elite-level athletes across a variety of sporting codes, bringing a wealth of experience to his clinical practice. Before joining Mediclinic in Dubai, he held physiotherapy roles within top-tier South African rugby institutions, including the Sharks Super Rugby franchise, the Investec International Rugby Academy and the Southern Kings PRO14 rugby team.
