Summary
After graduation Dr Elnikety did his residency training in UK in various hospitals. He was trained on different aspects of trauma and orthopaedic surgery. Dr Elnikety was appointed as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in the NHS in UK, a position to which he was appointed after completion of fellowship training in upper limb surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, UK.
Dr Elnikety sub-specialises in upper limb procedures with extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacements and open procedures. Besides elective patients Dr Elnikety performs all bone fixation procedures including intramedullary nailing and various plate fixations as well as joint reconstruction surgeries. He also looks after sports injuries and performs various sports related operations including ligament reconstructions.
