Dr. Shifa is a consultant paediatrician with a special interest in paediatric endocrinology. She has over 25 years' experience in acute, emergency inpatient and outpatient service,s general paediatrics.
Prior to joining Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, Dr. Shifa worked as Senior Lecturer at Gulf Medical College, Ajman, UAE. She is an active teacher and educator at Mafraq Hospital which provides clinical teaching and training to medical student intern doctors through a long standing partnership between Mafraq hospital and Gulf Medical College. She also provides clinical teaching and training to postgraduate residents for the Arab Board.
