Summary
Dr. Alsaeed qualified in medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dublin in 2007. She trained in Internal Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology at university hospitals in Galway and Dublin. Subsequently, she joined the Endocrinology Department at Dubai Hospital, DHA in 2015 where she had been actively involved in the clinical management of a broad range of endocrine diseases in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Her main interest lies in diabetes and thyroid disorders, as well as in obesity management. She is certified by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists in neck ultrasonography and fine needle aspiration biopsy of thyroid nodules (ECNU). She is also certified by the World Obesity Federation as an obesity management provider. She is a member of The Emirates Diabetes Society, The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and The Endocrine Society.
Dr. Alsaeed has co-authored several publications in the field of diabetes and technology, thyroid disease and obesity management.
