About

Dr. Abbas treats the full range of kidney conditions: acute and chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, autoimmune kidney disease (vasculitis, lupus nephritis), diabetic kidney disease, kidney stones, and electrolyte disturbances. He has subspecialty expertise in cardio-renal syndrome and women's renal health including pregnancy. His expertise extends to dialysis and kidney transplantation, including kidney-pancreas transplants. He practised as a consultant in France for 10 years and set up and led the nephrology department at the Pierre Oudot Hospital in Bourgoin-Jallieu.
