Dr. Abdul Shameel Mattara

Dr. Abdul Shameel focuses on children's breathing and allergy problems - asthma, chronic cough, and long-term lung disease - alongside general paediatrics, from newborn neurodevelopmental follow-up and developmental delay to growth concerns and immunisation. He is also highly skilled in caring for seriously unwell children in high-dependency units, and in the ambulatory care that keeps children out of hospital where possible. He trained through the Yorkshire deanery and holds a postgraduate diploma in child health from the University of Leeds.
