Professor Shehab treats the full range of heart and circulation conditions: heart failure, coronary artery disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and arrhythmias. His interventional work includes cardiac catheterisation and stenting, alongside cardiac imaging. He also offers cardiovascular screening for athletes and care for heart disease in pregnancy. He is general secretary of the Emirates Cardiac Society, vice president of the Gulf Intervention Society, and chief editor of the Emirates Medical Journal, and holds UAEU awards for service, teaching, and clinical research.
