About
Dr. Augusto diagnoses and treats heart rhythm problems - palpitations, tachycardias, atrial fibrillation, blackouts, and hereditary arrhythmic syndromes - performing catheter ablation with 3D navigation that avoids X-ray exposure, and implanting pacemakers, defibrillators, and other cardiac devices. Volume matters in this work, and he has performed more than 2,000 rhythm and device procedures. He teaches future physicians at MBRU as a professor and has published in leading journals including the European Heart Journal and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
