Dr. Basemah Zaghir

Dr. Basemah focuses on breast imaging and intervention. Her imaging work covers screening and diagnostic mammography and tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound and elastography, and breast MRI. Her interventions include stereotactic and ultrasound-guided core needle biopsies and fine needle aspiration, axillary node biopsies, marker insertion, vacuum-assisted biopsies, cyst aspiration and abscess drainage, and pre-operative wire localisation. She is a member of the Dutch Society of Radiologists and the European Society of Breast Imaging, and has presented at international conferences.
