Dr. Bernard operates on the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, from sports injuries and nerve problems to reconstruction and microsurgery, using arthroscopy and joint replacement to restore movement and function in the upper limb. He led an accredited 24/7 hand trauma service in Luxembourg, developed the hand unit at Aspetar, a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence, taught as an assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, and has published more than 50 articles and chapters as associate editor of a leading orthopaedic journal.
