Dr. Caroline Rydmarker

Dr. Caroline treats the conditions patients often put off treating: haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, and pilonidal sinus, alongside hernias, gallbladder problems, and pelvic floor disorders such as constipation and incontinence. Much of her surgery is laparoscopic, keeping incisions small and recovery short, and she also performs upper GI endoscopy. Trained across rural and university hospitals, she established an international specialty hospital in the Maldives, served as director of studies for surgical interns, and is an associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
