Prof. Charbel operates on the spine and on the joints of the lower body, with expertise in adult joint reconstruction, including total hip and total knee replacement. He also treats musculoskeletal trauma, having trained in orthopaedic surgery at Amiens University in France. He has published over 25 papers and several textbook chapters on spine surgery, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons' instructional courses, and edits international peer-reviewed journals. He is an associate professor at the Lebanese University and an adjunct professor at Khalifa University.
