Dr. Ghassan operates on children with gastroenterological and urological conditions, using laparoscopic and robotic techniques that mean smaller incisions and a gentler recovery for the child. He trained at the University of Pavia, completed a French fellowship at Claude-Bernard University in Lyon and a masters in paediatric laparoscopic surgery at the University of Bologna, and worked as a consultant at Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia, one of Italy's largest hospitals.
