Dr. Kara diagnoses and treats stroke, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, infections and inflammatory conditions of the central nervous system including multiple sclerosis, and disorders of the peripheral nerves, with particular experience in the neurological care of older patients and the long-term management of chronic neurological conditions. Board certified in Germany and Iraq, he held consultant positions in leading German hospitals and worked at Sharjah University Hospital. He consults in Arabic, English, German, Kurdish, and Turkish.
