About
Dr. Karim diagnoses and surgically treats skin cancer, using dermoscopy and total body mole mapping to spot changes at their earliest stage, and is fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery - the technique that removes skin cancer layer by layer, sparing as much healthy skin as possible. He trained at Lund University, received the Anna-Greta Crafoord prize for the best doctoral thesis of 2019, and has published research on surgical site infections and wound healing. His practice also covers cosmetic dermatology: laser treatments, botulinum toxin, and fillers.
