About
Dr. Khalid provides anaesthesia across a wide range of surgery, including cardiothoracic, obstetric, trauma and orthopaedic, vascular, neuro and spinal, and colorectal and upper GI procedures, with particular expertise in one-lung ventilation and transoesophageal echocardiography. His acute pain management work includes anaesthesia for enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) programmes, helping patients recover sooner after colorectal and orthopaedic operations. He completed a cardiothoracic anaesthesia fellowship and is a member of the Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists.
