Dr. Leila Ismail

Dr. Leila finds and diagnoses breast disease using imaging, and carries out the image-guided procedures, including biopsies, that confirm a diagnosis without open surgery, so women get clear answers sooner. Much of her work is with breast cancer, across both screening and symptomatic clinics. She earned her medical degree with honours from the University of Cape Town and trained in London at the first UK trust to perform MRI-guided breast biopsies, with fellowships in breast and gynaecological imaging. She is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University.
