About

Dr. Luzia manages the full breadth of rheumatic disease: rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, lupus, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, vasculitis, osteoporosis, and fibromyalgia, with particular attention to early arthritis. She performs joint and soft tissue injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound, and treats with biological therapies. She completed her five-year rheumatology residency at one of Portugal's largest public hospitals and has published in leading peer-reviewed journals.
