Dr. Mahesh treats vascular disease from inside the artery: angioplasty and stenting for peripheral vascular disease, especially diabetes-related arteriopathy, and more than 150 aortic stent-grafts for abdominal aortic aneurysm - volume that matters in work this specialised. His non-vascular work spans gastrointestinal and uroradiology cancer procedures, plus CT, MRI, and ultrasound body imaging. As endovascular lead at the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, he built its aneurysm service, and as clinical director led clinical governance, audit, and cancer imaging services.
