Dr. Maliha treats the conditions many patients find hardest to talk about: haemorrhoids, anal fissures and fistulas, rectal prolapse and bleeding, faecal incontinence, and chronic pelvic and anal pain. She uses the newest minimally invasive approaches, including VAAFT for complex anal fistulas and EPSIT for pilonidal sinus, and performs laparoscopic emergency and elective surgery. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with a laparoscopic surgery diploma from Strasbourg, she teaches as an adjunct clinical lecturer at MBRU and works within a pelvic floor multidisciplinary team.
