About

Prof. Elgohary operates on children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents, across general paediatric surgery, paediatric urology, neonatal surgery, and keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery, over a career spanning Egypt, the UK, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He discovered and described Gohary's Phenomenon, the scientific phenomenon in paediatric surgery officially named after him, and has developed three keyhole surgery techniques now used in specialised centres around the world, supported by 52 research papers in international medical journals.
