Dr. Mohamed's surgical work centres on endoscopic and microscopic procedures, which use small instruments and cameras to operate inside the ear, nose, and throat with precision and a quicker recovery than open surgery. He performs endoscopic sinus surgery, surgery on the larynx (voice box) and middle ear, and procedures for snoring and sleep apnoea. He also treats middle ear effusion in children and adults, a common cause of muffled hearing where fluid builds up behind the eardrum.
