Dr. Nancy looks after children, from birth to 18, with blood disorders and cancer, including anaemia and sickle cell disease as well as leukaemia, lymphoma, and solid tumours. She cares for the child and the family together through diagnosis, treatment, and the side effects of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, often the hardest part for families. She completed her medical degree at Cairo University and her fellowship at the National Cancer Institute in Cairo, one of the region's largest cancer centres, and has lectured regionally and worked on childhood cancer awareness programmes.
