Dr. Nazimul performs advanced vitreoretinal surgery, treating macular disease, diabetic retinopathy and its surgical complications, and retinal detachment, alongside laser treatment and screening for retinopathy of prematurity. Volume matters in retinal surgery, and he has performed more than 10,000 vitreoretinal operations. He has published 44 peer-reviewed papers and 14 textbook chapters, authored a textbook of vitreoretinal surgery, and as associate professor trained retinal fellows for a decade, with more than 150 invited presentations at national and international conferences.
