Dr. Raafat provides paediatric care from newborn checks through adolescence: growth and development monitoring, immunisations and preventive care, respiratory and allergy problems including asthma, infections, nutrition, behavioural health, and ADHD, with expertise in children's heart conditions. He trained at the University of Jordan completing his paediatric residency and paediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he served on the executive committee that established the International Paediatric Centre in Doha.
