About

Dr. Samar specialises in hormonal conditions in children: diabetes, with experience in advanced diabetes technologies, growth and puberty disorders, thyroid and adrenal disorders, calcium and bone disorders, obesity and metabolic syndromes, disorders of sex development, and neonatal endocrine and pituitary disorders. She previously led the paediatric endocrine department at Gaafar Ibn Auf Hospital in Khartoum and worked at the Sudan Childhood Diabetes Center, and is an active member of the European, International, Arab, and African societies for paediatric endocrinology.
