About
Dr. Shafeek delivers adult and paediatric emergency care, with expertise in trauma and critical care, Emergency Medical Services, and disaster medicine. He served as medical commander for multiple Gallant Knight 3 evacuation missions from Gaza under the UAE Department of Health. He is an instructor in ATLS and the DHA's Disaster Readiness Program. Before medical school, he worked as a firefighter and paramedic in the United States. He completed his emergency medicine residency at the American University of Beirut, and has published peer-reviewed research including first-author work.
