Dr. Shuker Fares

Dr. Shuker diagnoses and treats complex chest and lung conditions, using camera-guided techniques such as bronchoscopy, ultrasound-guided sampling, and keyhole chest surgery to investigate and treat with less disruption than open surgery. He also carries out major thoracic operations, drains fluid from around the lungs, and provides life-saving surgery for chest trauma and emergencies. He graduated from the University of Mosul, has practised as a chest surgeon since 1997, leads the department, and holds a diploma in COPD management, managing both urgent injuries and long-term lung disease.
