Dr. Zafer Husami

Dr. Zafer cares for people with kidney disease at every stage. He works to catch it early and slow it down, particularly the kidney damage caused by diabetes and high blood pressure, and looks after patients through dialysis, both haemodialysis and peritoneal, and assessment before and after a kidney transplant. He also treats and helps prevent kidney stones. He completed his nephrology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, holds a further certification in interventional nephrology, and has led nephrology departments and dialysis units across his career, with many publications to his name.
