He completed a German spinal fellowship with Professor Jürgen Harms at the University of Heidelberg, trained at the George Washington and Georgetown universities in Washington, D.C., holds a PhD, and won the 2019 DHCA Healthcare Innovation Award for minimally invasive spine surgery.
