Fit to perform: Sport health assessment package

About the package

Starting a new training programme or preparing for an event should feel exciting, not uncertain. The Fit to Perform package is conducted by a sports and exercise medicine physician and evaluates your current sporting health status, giving diagnostic insight into potential health and injury risks before you begin training or competing.

Who this package is for

• People new to or returning to physical activity who want reassurance before starting a sport
• Regularly active people taking part in organised events such as triathlons, Ironman competitions, or marathons who need medical clearance or pre-event health confirmation

Package inclusions

• Consultation with a sports and exercise medicine physician
• Comprehensive medical examination and clinical history
• Resting ECG to evaluate heart health
• Body composition analysis, including body fat percentage and muscle mass
• Vital signs check, including blood pressure
• Laboratory tests: HbA1c, lipid profile, full blood count, liver function panel 3, urea and creatinine, routine urinalysis

Optional add-on

Aerobic Performance Testing (30 to 40 minutes)

AED 1,000. Spirometry for lung function and VO2 max for cardiovascular fitness.
