Dr Mostafa graduated from and underwent specialist training at the University of Cairo where he also obtained his MD, and was appointed as an lecturer of Neurosurgery involved in teaching Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery for residents and fellows.

During his 12-year career he has received various trainings in general neurosurgery, spine and neuroendoscopy tumours, complex spine, minimally invasive spine procedures, spine and brain endoscopic procedures as well as paediatric neurosurgery from hospitals in UAE, Egypt, Germany, and Switzerland.

He has published multiple papers and given peer reviews in learned journals. He has been a presenter at several renowned international Neurosurgical conferences. Dr Mostafa is a member of the North American Spine Society and AO Spine Society, and has published multiple papers and given peer reviews in reputable journals.

Dr Mostafa’s neurosurgical practice in busy centres in Egypt and the UAE has allowed him to operate hundreds of cranial and spinal successful procedures yearly. Spine surgery, complex cases, minimally invasive procedures and pain management procedures are his areas of interest.
